The object of this course is to familiarize you with the basic of canine care in a boarding facility. This course will give you the foundation needed to move forward with the Canine Pet Care Specialist Certification. Upon completion of the course you will be a Canine Pet Care Provider.
This course covers basic canine anatomy and physiology. Discusses virtual assessment of a canine: normal versus abnormal. Basic canine behaviors. Safety and handling techniques for canines in a boarding environment. Canine health as it relates to environment, nutrition, and basic emergencies. This course should take you no more than 8 hours to complete. Once successful completion of this course occurs you will receive your Canine Pet Care Provider Certificate.
