Cold & Heat Stress Manual

This program describes extreme temperature swings between cold and heat and the prevention of harmful effects to the body.  Some Cold weather factors that are addressed include wind chill effects, frostbite, and general hypothermia.  Some heat factors that are addressed include heat stroke, exhaustion, cramps, and sun safety.  After reviewing this program, it should be very apparent that Cold and Heat can have a variance of trauma to the body.  Learn to plan your work task carefully to avoid Cold and Heat related issues.  Prevention is the best form to avoid being struck by cold/heat conditions.
